The Augustine Roche Cup will be presented to the Champion young horse. Qualifiers for this are first place yearling, 2 year old and 3 year old.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Full address and Eircode must be supplied for all entries. Prize money will be paid by cheque after the show. Please note that a 5% ISA levy will be deducted from all prize money.

UNDERAGE RIDERS:
Any rider under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Horse riding is a dangerous sport. While mounted, all competitors and ride judges must wear suitable protective headgear, compliant with current safety standards and securely fastened at all times.

Presented to the Champion Young Horse, selected from 1st prize winners in the Yearling, 2-Year-Old and 3-Year-Old classes.

Prizes: Champion €40 · Reserve Champion €25

Young horses are shown in hand wearing appropriate headgear and judged on manners, movement and conformation. Where entry numbers are small, the young horse classes may be judged together.

 

No entries permitted on day of event.

All classes are subject to a minimum of five (5) entries for 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes to be awarded.
Where fewer than five entries are received, 1st prize only will be awarded.

The horse and pony classes bring elegance and excitement to the Dundalk Show. Featuring a range of classes, these competitions showcase well-presented animals, skilled handling and a deep appreciation for Ireland’s strong equestrian tradition.
