9: THE ALL IRELAND JUNIOR CRAFT CHAMPIONSHIP
- A fun exhibit using a variety of recycled containers to make a colourful eye-catching display no larger than 1m2. Groups provide their own containers by either sowing seeds, planting seedlings or plants – your choice.
- Each display will be judged on the originality of container, visual impact and quality of the product.
- This could prove to be a great learning opportunity as children monitor the growth of their plants opening endless opportunities.
- The school/group may benefit from using this display to promote their own establishment at the Show which attracts over 5,000 visitors.

ACTUAL EXHIBITS in All WRITING, ART & CRAFT sections will be collected FROM SCHOOLS between 27th May to 31st May 2024.
NON-SCHOOL EXHIBITS in WRITING, ART & CRAFT sections MUST BE LEFT AT THE SHOW GROUNDS on Saturday 8th June 2024 between 9am and 12noon
Name, Age & School/Contact to be on the back of each exhibit.
RULES AND CONDITIONS
- Create and design your own Hat as an Agricultural theme.
- Can be put together using any of the following materials Paper Mache, card board, chicken wire, wool, thread, embroidery, plant material such as artificial flowers.
- Competition is open to Primary School children only.
- Exhibit to be displayed on a base 41cm by 41cm
- The exhibit must be the sole work of the child.
- Special qualifying class will be held at selected shows.
- Judge’s decision will be final at all stages of the competition.
- Two exhibits may qualify at the selected shows.
- Exhibits are displayed at owner’s risk.
