CHAIRMAN'S ADDRESS 2026

On behalf of Dundalk Show Society CLG, it gives me great pleasure to officially launch Dundalk Show 2026, which will take place at Bellurgan Park on Sunday, 14th June 2026.

With just two weeks to go, we are delighted to share a glimpse of what promises to be a fantastic day out for the whole family.

This year's Show continues a proud tradition that has been at the heart of our community for 148 years, celebrating local agriculture, rural life and everything that makes our region so special. With admission priced at just €15 and free entry for children under 16, we remain committed to providing a fun, affordable and memorable day for everyone.

Visitors can enjoy a wide range of competitions and exhibits, including Cattle, Horses, Ponies, Sheep, Dogs, Poultry, Home Industries, Crafts and Children's Classes. Alongside these, there will be Machinery Displays, Artisan Trade Stands, Vintage Vehicles and a bustling Food Village. The Show grounds will be open from 9.00am.

There will be entertainment and attractions throughout the day, including The Big Top Magic Circus, Miniature Animals, Patchwork Displays, Wool Spinning and Weaving Demonstrations, and Chainsaw Carving. It is a day that truly brings together people of all ages and interests.

We are also delighted to welcome four live bands to our Main Stage throughout the day and to introduce an exciting new addition for 2026 – our inaugural Jiving Competition, commencing at 4.00pm.

Of course, none of this would be possible without the continued support of our many wonderful sponsors. Their generosity and commitment help ensure that this much-loved local event not only survives but continues to grow and thrive. We are sincerely grateful for their support and community spirit.

I would also like to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of our volunteers, committee members, exhibitors, competitors and supporters who give so much of their time and energy to make Dundalk Show such a success year after year.

So please mark your calendars for Sunday, 14th June 2026, at Bellurgan Park, and help us spread the word. We look forward to welcoming you all for what is shaping up to be our biggest and best Show yet.
